How do I care for my jewellery?

 

The best way to care for your jewellery is to wear it lots! Silver does tarnish over time when exposed to the atmosphere however. To minimise the tarnishing of your piece of jewellery, follow the steps below:

 

  • When not being worn, make sure your jewellery is put safely back in it's box or a zip lock plastic bag.

  • Remove your jewellery before coming into contact with water, soap, perfume, body lotions, sun cream etc. The chemicals can cause silver to tarnish.

  • To clean your jewellery, use a jewellery polishing cloth. These are a great investment to keep your jewellery in tip top condition.

  • Do NOT use 'silver dip' to clean your jewellery as this can remove the oxidisation (black colouring) which is integral to the design.

I've bought a ring and it doesn't fit. Can I exchange it?

 

Yes you can! I would reccommend being measured at a jewellers to be sure of your size before ordering a ring However, sometimes there is just no comparison to trying on a ring for size. Fingers can be awkward and change size depending on the temperature. As we all come in different shapes and sizes, the shape of your knuckles will also affect the size of ring you require.

I have changed my mind, can I return my jewellery for a refund?

 

If you've bought a piece of (non personalised) jewellery and for whatever reason, you've decided you don't want to keep it, then provided the item is in it's original condition and packaging, you can return it to me for a full refund or credit note if you prefer. The item must be returned within 28 days of purchase, to the return address in the original parcel. Please also include a note stating the reason for the return and preference of refund/credit note.

I've bought a piece of personalised jewellery but I ordered the wrong size - is there anything I can do?

 

Unfortunately personalised jewellery cannot be refunded however depending on the item, I may be able to alter the size for an additional fee. Please use the contact form to get in touch with me and discuss what options may be available.

I need my item quickly, I can't wait two weeks for delivery. Is there a faster option?
 
Perhaps you've left it late to order a gift? Or you've only just discovered my jewellery and that special occasion is coming up soon? Although my jewellery is all made to order by my own hands, it may be worth asking me if I can do something especially quickly. You never know - the answer might just be yes.
If that's not possible - you could consider buying a gift voucher. Gift vouchers can be dispatched within 1-2 working days, and sent via 1st class recorded post.
