If you've been lying awake at night wondering what kind of data I hold and what I do with it - then please read on and put your mind at ease.
What: If you buy jewellery using this site, and pay via PayPal, I receive, collect and store any information you enter on my website or provide me in any other way.
I may use software tools (Google analytics) to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page (although the reality is that I barely understand it and don't have the time to use it so I wouldn't worry about that).
How: When you conduct a transaction on my website, as part of the process, I collect personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only. If you fill in your email address in the 'subscribe for updates' box, I will store your email address for marketing purposes.
Why: To provide and operate the service, to provide customer assistance, to provide marketing to email subscribers, to apply with applicable laws and regulations.
Storage and sharing: My company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by my company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Information I receive via email is also stored on my email accounts which are protected by passwords and security offered by Yahoo and Google.
Communication: I may use your information to contact you regarding a transaction you have made, or to reply to a query you have made. I will use your information for marketing purposes only if you have entered your email in the 'subscribe for updates' box.
Cookies and tracking tools: This site does use both permanent and sessional cookies, mainly used for security. A full list can be provided on request.
Consent: If you wish to unsubscribe from the marketing list then please click the unsubscribe button on marketing emails or email me at helen@sheredesign to request to be removed. If you don't want me to process your data anymore, please contact me at helen@sheredesign.co.uk.

Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If I make material changes to this policy, I will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I use and/or disclose it.
