Silver and Gold Balance Brooch

A solid silver brooch with gold foil detail and a strong steel pin.
 
This brooch is hand crafted here in my Nottingham studio from 100% recycled silver and 23.5carat gold foil, using traditional techniques including Keum Boo to bond the gold foil to the silver. 
 
The brooch is subtly textured, and made from two leaf shapes which appear to be delicately balanced, one on top of the other. The brooch has a strong steel pin which is suitable for a linen mix fabric as shown in the images, or a thicker fabric such as a coat or shawl.
 
The brooch measures approx 4cm x 4.5cm. One available, ready to ship.
