Sunshine and rain, a very wet leg and some new friends...

There are reasons I don't normally do 'outdoor' events. First and foremost, the Great British Weather! But despite the showers, and the decidedly chilly temps for May, I had a fantastic weekend at The Bottle Top in Lady Bay (would highly recommend this lovely little cafe bar). The owners and staff, not to mention the locals were so warm, friendly and welcoming, it made my weekend really special.
My one top tip - never try and push out the water that has pooled on the top of the gazebo, by yourself when you're 5ft tall, because you will get wet. Very wet. Fortunately, as this was a local event, and an emergency, my other half came to my rescue with a dry pair of jeans. And I must also credit him for a roaring fire to warm me up and a delicious dinner both evenings.
So a huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers who organise this event. It is so appreciated. And to all the people who visited, chatted and bought a piece of jewellery, and to the people whose names I don't know that helped me load my car, to my amazing daughter who helped me unload my car and to my lovely other half, THANK YOU!
p.s. the latest botanical pendants were much admired over the weekend and although several pieces of jewellery found new homes, there are plenty of pieces still available in my shop here.
